Study for the German amateur radio exam

Funklehrer and its questions are in German only. It prepares you for the exam in Germany, not for the exams of other countries. If you do not read German, it will not help you.

If you do, Funklehrer is a study app that runs in the browser and comes with CloudHamSuite. You need an account, but no rig. Your progress stays in your account.

Guest mode does not cover it.

The questions

It is built on the exam question catalogue, 3rd edition of March 2024, valid since 24 June 2024: 1750 questions from the three exam parts, technical, operating and regulations, for classes N, E and A. Funklehrer is not a service of the Bundesnetzagentur.

How you practise

• Learning goal: your first licence in class N, E or A, or the step from N to E or from E to A.
• Learning by topic, at your own pace.
• Exam mode with a time limit: 25 questions in 30 minutes for class N, 34 in 60 for E, 60 in 90 for A.
• Revision of questions when they are due, and a study plan with your exam date.
• Trainers and tools: Morse code, Q codes, country prefixes, the BNetzA formula collection and a scientific calculator.
• AI questions: 50 a day per account, with a confirmed email address.

After the exam

The same account takes you on the air in CloudHamSuite: FT8 in the browser, once you have your callsign.
